The 2020 Escape’s second option, a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine maxes out the SUV for power. with 250 horsepower and 275 lb.-ft. of torque. This 2020 Escape engine option will be featured standard on Titanium models. This option will also be available Escape SEL models for an extra charge.

Ford Escape Hybrid Engine
Also joining the lineup for 2020, an Escape Plug-In Hybrid will come equipped with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder PHEV engine, also paired with a continuously variable transmission. The plug-in model promises to be the most powerful hybrid option, offering 209 horsepower and 153 lb.-ft. of torque. Escape Plug-is estimated to go about 30 miles on a full charge.
