LOUISVILLE, KY., October 27, 2017 -- Ford team member, Cody Clemons doing a CBT-current base test. Ford’s Kentucky Truck Plant today celebrates the launch of the all-new Expedition — the smartest, most capable and most adaptable Expedition ever — delivering generous space, more comfort and flexibility, and smart technology to keep everyone connected. Ford recently invested $900 million in the plant for upgrades to build the all-new Expedition and Lincoln Navigator, securing 1,000 full-time hourly U.S. jobs. The new Expedition arrives in dealership this fall. Kentucky Truck Plant, which opened in 1969 and currently employs approximately 8,000 workers, produces the all-new Ford Expedition, Lincoln Navigator and F-250, F-350, F-450 and F-550 Super Duty pickups and chassis cabs.
